Born Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader became who he was when he fell to the dark side and was injured and burned in his fight with Obi-Wan Kenobi in Mustafar. Despite the fact that he was supposed to be the strongest Force user in history, Vader’s powers were diminished due to his injuries.

After his limbs were replaced by cybernetic parts, Vader became more physically imposing but lost mobility as a result. However, Sith cultists revere Revan as one of the most powerful Sith Lords in history, as his name was included in the chant by the cultists in Exegol during the time of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.

Arguably the best duelist that the Jedi Order had to offer during the time of the Clone Wars, Mace Windu was a force to be reckoned with as he had the ability to tap into the dark side without necessarily turning over to the dark side. This allowed him to develop and master a lightsaber form that allowed him to use the anger of the dark side without feeling the ill effects of using emotions in combat. He is proficient in the dark arts of the Sith and is incredibly dangerous with his Force Lightning. And the fact that he was able to use his powers to full effect against the likes of Yoda, Rey, and Kylo Ren proves just how powerful Emperor Palpatine was.

5. Starkiller –22,000

Technically, Starkiller isn’t a canon character, but it’s hard not to include him on this list due to how overwhelmingly powerful he was in the Star Wars: Force Unleashed video game. Discovered by Darth Vader as a child, Starkiller became the Sith Lord’s secret apprentice as Vader sensed that he had the power of a Jedi Master when he was still just a mere child. And this made Vader realize that he could train Starkiller in the hopes of overthrowing the emperor one day.

In that regard, Starkiller showcased his exaggerated Force powers in the video game when he was powerful enough to pull down an entire Star Destroyer from the air to the ground. He could fill an entire room with Force Lightning and use other Force powers that could basically allow him to lift incredibly heavy objects that not all Star Wars characters are capable of lifting. And the fact that he killed several non-canon Star Wars Jedi Masters proves his incredible potential as a Force user.

4. Leia Organa – 23,000

Technically, Leia Organa wasn’t a very powerful Jedi due to the fact that she started training late in her life and was more focused on being a leader. Nevertheless, she had the same kind of potential that Luke had, and that is the reason why she belongs on this list. The fact that she is the twin sister of Luke puts her at the same level as him when it comes to her midi-chlorian count.

Of course, the midi-chlorian count is only a measure of the innate talent and potential of a Jedi or Force user. So, even though Leia had one of the highest midi-chlorian counts in history, the fact that she never had the same kind of training and combat experience that Luke had is the reason why she was never as strong as him. Nevertheless, she was still skilled enough to be able to take over Rey’s training after Luke’s passing.

3. Luke Skywalker –23,0000

The original protagonist of the entire Star Wars storyline, Luke Skywalker, was an incredibly gifted Force user that had innate talent in the Force due to his status as the son of the Chosen One. In that regard, he was a quick study that became strong and skilled enough to put pressure on Darth Vader in just a few years of training. And the fact that some of the strongest and most experienced Jedi Masters can’t last a minute against Vader is proof of the fact that Luke was innately talented and was able to quickly pick things up.

But we are giving a higher spot to Luke because he was the more experienced fighter of the two.
